Casa de Brazilian Folkloric Arts of Sacramento is non-profit organization that strives to bring Brazilian Folkloric Arts, especially Brazilian Capoeira, to communities everywhere. The organization was founded in 2000 by Master Caboclinho, a world reknown artist from Salvador Bahia Brazil who has been studying and teaching Brazilian folkloric arts for over 40 years.
Programs include performances and classes in Samba, Afro-Brazilian rhythms and folkloric dances of Brazil. Much of its focus is on the folkloric Brazilian art of Capoeira, which combines music, philosophy, folkloric arts and self-defense to form an art that is played between two people.

Ignite Dance Academy is dedicated to maintaining high standards of technical performance in a wholesome environment while making classes fun. Tina B., once named a Hub Magazine Exceptional Woman of Color, is tireless in her efforts to help the Sacramento community of all shapes, sizes, and ages get up and moving! Her Soul Line Dance class sets line dances to irresistible classic Motown beats that make you forget you're exercising, as you dance your way to better health. And her Soul Line Dancers demonstration team are fixtures at many local fairs, festivals, and events!
DYNAMIC ENERG
Under the direction of Nicole Manker, Dynamic EnerG focuses on artivism, using the arts to enact social change. Nicole’s teaching background includes an assortment of dance styles, including modern, hip-hop, tap, jazz, ballet, and African diasporic aesthetics. Nicole is in the process of becoming a Certified Dunham Instructor through the Institute of Dunham Technique Certification Board.

Celebration Arts is the premier performing arts organization in the Sacramento Region devoted to the African-American experience. It is well known for developing raw talent and presenting high quality performances. Incorporated in 1986, it was birthed from the 10-year-old Celebration Dance Company that performed statewide and conducted free and low cost dance classes. The mission of Celebration Arts is to provide training and performance opportunities for community residents in the areas of theater, dance and music, making art and its presentation accessible. Celebration Arts has produced more than 140 plays, numerous dance and music performances all based upon the African-American experience.

Honor Dance Academy” is a branch school of “Honor Kungfu Academy” in Sacramento. Mr. Lei Yang, a nationally recognized artistic director and choreographer from China, is the Chief choreographer and instructor of this school. The goal of "Honor Dance Academy" is to teach Sacromento students to learn and perform Chinese Classical Dance and folk dance, to introduce traditional Chinese culture by Dancing to Greater Sacromento community, and to make the community more diversity.

Honor Kung Fu Academy is an extension of the Greatest Zhong Hua WuShu School in Shandong Province, "The Martial Arts Hometown" of China. Following WuShu's lineage, Honor Kung Fu Academy teaches both modern and traditional Kung Fu. Their masters have gone through decades of rigorous skills training to promote WuShu skill mastery, courage and confidence to WuShu practitioners of all ages.

Our primary aim is to celebrate the art of dance in its various forms and explore this evolving medium with attention
to communicating, teaching, exposing and advancing the appreciation of dance in the world. Under this program
dance performances and teaching master workshops will be conducted. The program is open to the public benefiting
learning institutions, California community at large, and others outside the realms of the United States.

Sisters in Motion is the adult praise dance ministry at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in the Del Paso Heights area of Sacramento,CA where Dr. Bryant C. Wyatt is the pastor. The group's acronym SIM is in memoriom of the church's founding pastor, the late Rev. Sim Walton. The praise dance ministry seeks to be the visual representation of Mt Calvary's Mission Statement: Magnify the Lord through Christian worship. Motivate unity through Christian fellowship. Mature its members through Christ-like character through discipleship. Meet the mandate through evangelizing the lost to develop a Christ relationship. Maintain involvement in society through active citizenship.

With no trend to follow but their own, they aim to inspire confidence to "step out of the shadowz." While representing the 916 and Fam Royale, they are artists of their own, dancers as a crew, and together, they shine bright.
